LOW LIGHT - Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Lens is a unique wide-angle prime designed to produce high-resolution, well-corrected imagery. Its 2.8 F stop can take indoor and low-light outdoor shooting. Constant f/2.8 maximum aperture provides consistent performance throughout the zoom range.
OPTICS - The lens incorporates three SLD elements and four aspherical elements to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations, as well as color fringing, distortions, and other anomalies for greater clarity and sharpness. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied to suppress lens flare and ghosting for accurate color fidelity and high contrast, and a protective coating has been applied to the front element, too, to benefit working in harsh climates.
FOCUS - Integrated stepping motor realizes quick and quiet autofocus, which is further complemented by an optimized AF algorithm to produce smoother focusing performance. Integrated AF-L button can be programmed to adjust various shooting settings and the lens also features a dedicated AF/MF switch and a zoom lock switch to prevent the barrel from accidentally extended.
